About jyotiṣa
Jyotiṣa, often translated as “the science of light,” is the traditional astrological system of India. It was developed over thousands of years as a way to understand the unfolding of time and the events that arise within it. The system rests on the idea that while we are each born into specific conditions that shape much of our lives, there are still moments when our actions can make a meaningful change in the direction in which our lives unfold.
This practice offers prediction, but its true value is in helping us see clearly. It provides insight into the behavioral and psychological patterns that we’re caught in, the habits that shape our choices, and the blind spots that keep us stuck. Often, what we suffer from most is the fate shaped by what we cannot yet see. Jyotisha brings these patterns into view so we can act with greater intention.

About me
Hi, I’m Leddy. Thank you for visiting. I am a practitioner of jyotisha, trained in the lineage brought from India by K. L. Mantri. My work is grounded in the original languages, foundational texts, and traditions that have carried this wisdom for centuries. I approach every reading with respect for this lineage and a commitment to maintaining its integrity.
At the same time, my role is to make this wisdom accessible and practical to those outside the tradition. I translate complex astrological and philosophical insights into clear, actionable guidance—no prior background in astrology or Indian philosophy required. Clients come away with a deeper understanding of themselves and concrete steps to live in a way that is more meaningful to them.
With an educational background in Indian religions and years working in business development, I bring a sharp eye for patterns and solutions. Each session is both a conversation and an opportunity to feel seen, understood, and empowered to make thoughtful choices. I believe we are always more than our charts. Awareness of your nature is only the starting point. What you do with it is where your power lies.
Carrying the light forward
In honor of the traditions that guide my work, I donate 5% of all gross revenue to the Seva Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides sight-saving care to underserved communities around the world, including in India. Just as jyotisha offers a lens to see more clearly, this small offering supports the gift of literal sight for others.
