Privacy Policy

Last updated 3 September 2026

1. Overview

Sacred Timing collects very little personal information. There are no user accounts, no passwords, and no advertising trackers. To deliver an Almanac, we need an email address and the name of a city. We do not sell your personal information, and we share it only with the service providers we need to operate, and in the limited circumstances described in Section 6.

2. Who We Are

Sacred Timing, LLC, a California limited liability company, is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. In this policy, “Sacred Timing,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Sacred Timing, LLC.

3. Information We Collect

Email address. Used to send your Almanac link, your receipt, and service notices.

City. Every Almanac is calculated for a location. We store the city you enter as a place name, not as precise coordinates, and we do not access your device’s location. The city is matched against a database we host ourselves and is not sent to an outside lookup service.

Purchase information. Our payment provider holds your name, billing details, and card information. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made, what was purchased, and the email address used. We never see your card number.

Website usage data. When you visit our website or the pages where you set up and manage an Almanac, we collect standard usage information: the pages viewed, your approximate location (country and city), your browser’s language setting, the referring site, the time of the visit, and the general type of browser, operating system, and device. We use a cookie-free analytics service that does not store your IP address and places nothing on your device.

Calendar fetch records. When your calendar application checks for updates, we record that a check occurred and the type of application that made it, so that we can confirm that Almanacs are being delivered. We do not store your IP address or record your location.

Newsletter consent. Recorded only if you opt in. The box is never pre-selected.

Booking details. If you book a reading: your name, email address, time zone, and anything you enter in the booking form.

Correspondence. Anything you send us, such as a support request.

4. Information We Do Not Collect

  • Passwords. There are no accounts.

  • Advertising or cross-site tracking data.

  • Precise device location.Birth date, birth time, or birth place. The personalized calendar is not yet available. This policy will be updated before it is.

  • Special categories of personal information, such as health data or religious beliefs.

5. Legal Bases for Processing (European Union and United Kingdom)

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract: your email address, city, and Almanac record, and, if you book a reading, your booking details. We cannot deliver the service without them.

  • Legitimate interests: usage data and calendar fetch records, to confirm that the service is working and that our pages are usable; basic security measures; responding to your correspondence; and retaining your contact details for a limited period after your Almanac ends so that we can handle any later support request, refund, or payment dispute.

  • Consent: the newsletter. You may withdraw consent at any time.

  • Legal obligation: records that we or our payment provider must keep for tax and accounting purposes.

6. How We Share Your Information

We use a small number of third-party service providers to operate the service:

  • a payment provider, which acts as merchant of record and is the seller for Almanac purchases;

  • a payment processor for readings;

  • hosting and infrastructure providers for our application, database, and calendar files;an email delivery provider for transactional email;

  • our website platform, which also delivers the newsletter to subscribers;

  • a cookie-free analytics provider; and

  • a scheduling provider for reading bookings.

Each provider receives only the information needed for its function and is bound by contractual terms that limit its use of that information to the purpose for which it was shared. We will provide a current list of our providers on request.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell, rent, or trade it, share it with data brokers or advertisers, or use it to build a profile of you.

Other disclosures. Beyond the providers described above, we disclose personal information only in the following circumstances:

  • Legal process, as described below.

  • Professional advisers. Our accountant or lawyer, if needed to address a tax matter, dispute, or legal demand. They are bound by confidentiality.

  • Business transfer. If Sacred Timing, LLC or its calendar business is sold or transferred, your information will transfer with it so that your Almanac continues to work. The successor will be bound by this policy. We will notify you before any transfer, by email if we hold a readable address for you, or by notice at the top of this page if we do not.

  • Aggregated data. We may publish or share statistics that do not identify anyone, such as the number of Almanacs delivered in a month or the countries our subscribers are in. We will not attempt to re-identify anyone from such data.

Requests from law enforcement and courts. We do not disclose personal information in response to informal requests. We require valid legal process: a warrant, a court order, or a subpoena. We review each demand to confirm that it was properly issued and is limited to what it lawfully covers, and we object to demands that are overbroad or improperly served. Where the law permits, we will notify you before disclosure so that you have an opportunity to respond. The only exception is an emergency involving a risk of death or serious physical injury.

Our service providers receive and respond to legal demands directly under their own policies, which we do not control.

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

Email address and Almanac record: 12 months after the coverage of your most recent Almanac ends, then deleted together. This period reflects how long a support request, refund, or payment dispute relating to that Almanac may reasonably arise. After deletion, we retain only a one-way hash of your email address, which cannot be reversed to recover the address and is used solely to enforce the limit of one free Almanac per person.

Booking details: 12 months after the reading.

Support messages: 12 months after the matter is resolved.

Newsletter consent: for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, we retain only a record that you opted out, so that you are not contacted again.

Usage data and calendar fetch records: kept only as long as needed to monitor that the service is working, then deleted or reduced to aggregate totals that identify no one.

Payment and tax records: retained by the payment provider for as long as tax law requires.

Deleted information may persist in routine backups for a limited period before it is overwritten. We do not restore deleted information into the live service.

Deletion requests. A deletion request takes precedence over these schedules. Two categories of information may be retained after a deletion request: records we are legally required to keep, such as tax and accounting records, and information needed to resolve a dispute or payment issue you have raised. If either applies, we will tell you what is being retained and why.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Wherever you live, you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, provide a copy in a portable format, correct it, or delete it. You may withdraw newsletter consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@sacredtiming.com.

Response times. In the European Union and the United Kingdom, we respond within one month; for a complex request, this may be extended by up to two further months if we notify you within the first month. In California, we acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, which may be extended once by a further 45 days. Elsewhere, we respond within the shortest period that applies.

Deletion and active Almanacs. For a customer with an active Almanac, the record is the service. Deleting it stops your Almanac. We will confirm this with you before deleting anything.

California residents. You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and there is no targeted advertising to opt out of.

European Union and United Kingdom residents. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interests as described in Section 5, and you may ask us to restrict processing while a question about the accuracy of your information, or our right to hold it, is being resolved. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.

9. Cookies

Our website platform sets a small number of cookies necessary for the site to function and remain secure. Our analytics service is cookie-free. Third-party services embedded in our site, such as the reading booking page, may set their own cookies necessary for them to work. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Your Almanac subscription uses no cookies. Your calendar application requests a file and reads it; nothing is tracked, and nothing is sent back to your device.

10. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States. Depending on the provider, your information may be stored and processed in the United States or the European Union. Where personal information about residents of the European Union or the United Kingdom is transferred outside those jurisdictions, we and our providers rely on standard contractual clauses approved for that purpose or an equivalent recognized safeguard.

European Union and United Kingdom data protection law applies to our handling of your information because we sell to people there, and California law applies because we are a California business.

11. Security

We maintain technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information we hold. Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, the systems that hold customer records are not exposed to the public internet, and access is limited to what operating the service requires. There are no customer accounts or passwords, which removes the most common source of compromise.

No security measure is perfect. If a data breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

12. Children

Our products are intended for adults. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email info@sacredtiming.com and we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top indicates when it was last revised. If a change materially affects information we already hold about you, we will notify you by email if we still hold a readable address for you, or by notice at the top of this page if we do not.
